I’ve been surprised by how many rare Kanji I’ve been running into playing visual novel games. I recall seeing 驫, but don’t remember what the context was. No idea why, but it seems like manga has a lot more kana (or at least furigana), while visual novels can be pretty unforgiving when it comes to Kanji.

One of the easiest kanji to remember how to write from memory for me because it’s so unique. I learned it instantly, to be honest. High stroke count doesn’t mean much when all the radicals are quite common.
